Connect Google Calendar
See your Google calendars in Nestday and, if you allow it, edit them here.
What you're allowing
Signing in to Nestday with Google doesn't give Nestday your calendar. Connecting is a separate step:
- See events only: Nestday reads events from the calendars you pick. Edit them in Google Calendar.
- See and edit events: Nestday can also add, change and delete events in those calendars when you do it here.
Nestday never asks for email, contacts or other Google data. The sign-in token is stored on Nestday's server, never in the browser.
Connect
- Go to Settings › Calendars and choose Add calendar › Connect Google Calendar.
- Choose the access level and continue to Google.
- Allow access, then pick the calendars to show and who should see them.
Repeating events and changes
Google expands repeating events, so Nestday shows each occurrence with the right time, including daylight-saving changes. Changes made in Google usually appear within about half an hour; Sync now checks sooner.
"Sign-in expired" or access removed
If you remove Nestday's access in your Google account, change your password, or Google expires the connection, the calendar shows Sign-in expired. Events already here stay but stop updating. Choose Reconnect in Settings › Calendars.
Disconnect
Disconnect stops syncing, deletes the stored token and asks Google to revoke it. You can also remove the imported events. Nothing in Google Calendar is changed.
