Show Nestday in Google Calendar
Create a private feed link that Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook can subscribe to.
Create a feed link
- Go to Settings › Calendars and find Nestday feed links.
- Choose which calendars and people to include. Private events are left out unless you turn them on.
- Copy the link. It's shown once; if you lose it, rotate it to get a new one.
Add it to Google Calendar
- On a computer, open Google Calendar.
- Next to Other calendars, select +, then From URL.
- Paste the link and select Add calendar.
What to expect
- Updates are slow. Google refreshes subscribed calendars on its own schedule, often every few hours. Nestday can't make it refresh sooner.
- It's one-way. Edits made in Google Calendar don't come back to Nestday. To edit Nestday events from Google, connect Google Calendar with edit access instead.
- Anyone with the link can read it. Treat it like a password.
Rotate or revoke
Rotate link replaces the link; the old one stops working right away. Revoke turns it off. Apps that subscribed keep their last copy until they refresh, then stop getting updates.
